I liked the proximity to where I need to go such as Carnegie Hall, Broadway, Times Square and Lincoln Center. I was there during the summer heat wave and the air conditioning did not cool the room sufficiently.

Great location, near the subway, loads of food options and grocery stores nearby. The room wasn't really cleaned very well, including the shower. And the mattresses were just ok, not that comfortable. I've stayed at HI hostel previously and it's around the same price, I'd suggest HI hostel over nap York. HI had really comfortable beds, thoughtful design for the lockers, beds and charging points, and was cleaner.

It was better than I expected: everything was clean, there was a shared kitchen with tea and coffee, and it was very quiet. The luggage hold is in a common, unguarded area, so bring a luggage lock, but I had no problem with this. I would def stay here again!
