If i could give zero stars i would because 1 star is being nice. Unless you have absolutely nowhere else to stay , STAY ELSEWHERE! The room was disgusting. Housekeeping is non-existent there, didnt even take trash out. the sheets had blood on them, there were USED bandages on the floor in the bathroom. In the shower there was this black stuff that came up from the drain and wouldn't go away. The bathroom had a terrible smell and the hotel over all smelled unsettling. "Breakfast" available was oatmeal and nature valley bars and coffee.

Choose a different hotel. Bugs were present, the toilet kept backing up and we had to switch rooms, then the bath tub was dirty, then it started backing up with black stuff in the tub. We didn’t take a shower for the last two days as a result. While it was extremely convenient to have a stovetop to cook meals, if you can afford somewhere else, please do that.

The place was the definition of mediocre. Had a nice clean room, a fairly outdated bathroom and some nice extras like a microwave and the option to request dishes if you want to cook yourself a meal. The location is convenient to the buses if you are planning to visit Midtown. The free breakfast was a scam though - they only offered oatmeal packets, granola bars and coffee/tea. Most hotels that offer free breakfast usually offer a variety of hot and instant food so that was disappointing.

Be very weary

We stayed 2 nights. We were expecting the room to be stocked with the essential cooking utensils, cookware, and cutlery however you have to ask for it at the front desk. Would have been nice to know BEFORE we went up to the room. They didn't even bring it up to the room you have to go down and get it in trash bags. The pots were dirty. The dishes were dirty. They don't provide you with a sponge or dish soap so I understood why everything was dirty. We didn't want service just clean towels after the first day. They made us bring down all of the towels in a trash bag and replaced it with what was brought down. Now I've never been to prison but this felt like prison. The old man drinking beer in the lobby like a Halloween decoration. There was NO heat or AC in the room. but the windows did open so there was a small blessing because this felt like the trick of a Halloween joke. The only saving grace of this place was its parking lot...yeah $20 bucks a day but it had a parking lot! It was a rare find in NY.

Convenient location for our needs, close access to expressway to get to an event venue and close to bus stop to get to the city. Kitchen was useful and there is a grocery store and shopping nearby. Beds were not comfortable and rooms were dated.
