Transportation arrived very quickly after informing the staff we landed. The ride was short and smooth. The lobby was a bit warm but, I felt more sorry for the staff if anything and it could have been due to the front doors opening often from coming & going traffic. Josiah, Brenda and Dwanet were extremely professional and made me aware of freshly baked cookies every time we returned after a long day of activities. Josiah found a room w/ a great view since it was my daughter’s sweet 16 & her 1st time in NYC. The bar staff were very nice and welcoming. The food and ambiance were fantastic. That salmon was tasty! We had an issue in the room the first night but, the manager, Stephen accommodated the best he could and was extremely apologetic. Even the security guard was nice & apologetic. The rest of the stay was great and we all really enjoyed our family trip to celebrate my baby’s Sweet 16 NYC Tour. All in all the Double Tree is still at the top of my list and not just because of the cookies, LOL. All issues were handled with ease and no fuss or buss. I thank everyone for making this trip an enjoyable one and I would return to this exact DoubleTree. They were patient, informative and the transport drivers were helpful at every turn. See you all again soon, DoubleTree LaGuardia Airport! Keep the cookies hot & fresh and the smiles most welcoming!

The hotel has a great location for a quick trip to NY. Conveniently located around La Guardia with a free shuttle. It’s a big hotel. I did not personally care about the front desk ladies. Not very accommodating or friendly for being the first contact with the guests. Borderline rude and very inefficient. We were in town for a parent’s funeral, called days in advance requesting an early check in (at 1:00, so not unrealistic). We were told they would try…. And being a Hilton Honors they would waive the fee. Not only did they not accommodate us, they were late and each time we approached the FD they brought up the check in fee. It was not appreciated. This was a personal issue, other than that the hotel was great.
