There were no elevators but rooms were small but very clean. Didn’t really like the location but I would def recommend it or stay there again.

The Marsh Hotel is a small hotel in a residential neighborhood. I was allowed a very early check in. The room was clean , well equipped and functional. The main reception area also serves as a coffee shop and bar. People who demand luxurious amenities will be disappointed but The Marsh Hotel provides nice rooms so let NOLA provide the excitement

The Marsh suited my needs perfectly as a solo traveler, it was quiet and accessible, great communication as needed, and friendly onsite staff. It's a simple and clean place with cute decor, and nice patio to hang out if desired. Close to the St. Charles streetcar and a lovely cafe nearby as well. I will definitely stay here again!

The front desk/cafe staff were the nicest and most helpful of any hotel I’ve been to! The woman working there in the morning gave a list of her favorite spots in the city and lots of local history and lore when I asked her for suggestions. The man who took my call to make reservation changes couldn’t have been easier to talk to and was so accommodating. The king room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the water in the room and in the cafe/lobby. Great garden patio to relax in. Only one drawback was the double room we also got for our son smelled musty. The staff were kind in switching his room.

During a recent sibling getaway to New Orleans, my sister and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marsh Hotel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The general manager was incredibly welcoming, and Blue, the bartender, provided exceptional service that made our evenings enjoyable. Check-in was seamless, with no issues whatsoever, allowing us to settle in quickly and start our adventure in the vibrant city. The staff's recommendations for local attractions and dining were spot-on, enhancing our experience and helping us discover some hidden gems. One of the highlights of our stay was the coffee shop and bar attached to the hotel. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious beverages. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining elegance with comfort, making it a lovely retreat after a busy day. Overall, our experience at the Marsh Hotel was fantastic, and I can confidently say that this will be my go-to accommodation for every future visit to New Orleans. We enjoyed our stay at Marsh. The checkin process was easy. The complimentary drinks on arrival was a nice touch. The 2 ladies behind the bar were friendly. Parking was always available and near by. Rooms were simple/minimalistic and clean. The only complaint is that the room’s ventilation. The room is small and it felt very humid and muggy. The covers had a damp feeling. It was a little uncomfortable to sleep at night. The bed was comfortable and plush. I’d stay again with hopes that another room isn’t as muggy.
