The property was the perfect distance from walkable things to do in the French Quarter. We were also far enough from all the noise to get a great night sleep. Staff was responsive and polite. The rooms are clean and neat and we had a great time overall. Thank you.

CHATEAU LEMOYNE is a lovely hotel that was once great. However, time took its toll on it. It is a bit dilapidated, with ancient, washed-out carpets in halls that should have been replaced a decade earlier. Our room was small, no table, no rack or hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. The view was to a wall some 20 feet away. A minimalistic wardrobe; more shelves would be appreciated. On the other side, the location is fantastic, in the heart of the French Quarter, just above Bourbon Street, and very close to Canal Street. The room was clean, no problems with cleanliness at all. The bed was very comfortable, with perfect bedding. The best part of our stay was the hotel staff. They did their best to accommodate our requests, always polite and highly professional. They made our stay very pleasant. If not for the apparent need for renovation, remodeling, restoration, and refurbishment, I would gladly give all five stars to FRENCH QUARTER-CHATEAU LEMOYNE. Of note: the advertised voucher for tours ($130) is mostly useless. First, it is not a voucher, but a series of small discounts for several tours. You need to use the provided code at checkout. There is only one agency you can book with, and at checkout, there was no field to enter the code. Plus, their prices are higher than those for the exact same tours you can find on Viator. Don't fall for this offer; you won't save anything.

We loved the overall vibe and the space of the suite, but there were a few small items which could have improved our experience. The suites have beautiful brick walls and windows lining the entire wall, which was fantastic on sunny days. On cloudy days, the space was so dark, despite having every lamp turned on. I would strongly recommend additional forms of lighting. It would have also been nice to have an extra blanket in the room. My only other complaints is that while sitting in the living space, I could hear the entire conversation of the guys above me. This was somewhat amusing, but ceased to be so at midnight on Friday night and waking to their conversation at 645am on Sunday morning. The first time I heard them, it literally sounded like they were inside our room. Overall, it was a nice stay and conveniently located.
