The bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant downstairs was very good. They did not disclose all the fees until check in and most of the staff was very pleasant but there were a few who seemed to need training customer service!

Clean rooms. Rooms not ready until 4 for check in unless you would pay 80.00 more to make the staff hurry. I felt like i was being taken advantage of at a cheap hotel. I hot to property by 10.39 am and if i wanted a early check in give them 80.00 more and they would get me in by 12. Seemed shady to me. No breakfast included and not coffee. They Nickle and dimed you everyway you turned. No smoking anywhere on property. Dont waste your money on a balcony room not worth it.

Our room had bugs on the bed and in the shower. The toilet would barely flush, and housekeeping only made up beds did not clean room. The room kinda smelt like sewage. Raquel at the front desk was awesome when we checked in and accommodating. The other staff was nice as well, but when we got ready to checkout the front desk clerk didn’t ask us how. Our stay was. She asked for my email address to send me a copy of my receipt, and she wrote it on a piece of paper. I thought that was odd especially since she should already have it from my reservation. I think she is trying to scam, because when my cousin checked out she just took his key and didn’t ask him for anything. Or give him a printout. Therefore, if we do get scam using that email address which is different from my check in email. We will know where the breach came from. Other than that the hotel is in great location and everything was in walking distance and we really enjoyed that. We were literally right on the corner of bourbon Street, which is what we wanted. I really like staying at Hyatt hotels, and if it wasn’t for the stuff I mentioned it would have been great instead of just ok.

The customer service was beyond excellent. Everyone from the Valet Attendances, Bell Hops, Frontdesk attendances, Serving Staff, and the Environmental Team was TOP TIER. The property is beautiful! Local to Canal and Bourbon. I would recommend this location to everyone! I will always stay at Hyatt Centric.

The room they put us in was horrible. There were no windows to see outside. We had one window that opened to the hallway so you have to keep the curtains closed otherwise everyone walking by would see in your room. The room was so dark. The carpet felt super dirty. Also the hallway to get to the room smelled so terrible everyday.

Tired property

Property was in need of upkeep in rooms. Flooring under carpeting was uneven and loose. Air conditioning was not reliable and most doors were sticking. The property in general seemed tired and in need of refreshing.
