"Rooms clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Pool opens early at 8am and is very nice. It had a sort of tiki bar area with a grill, lots of counter space, and a sink… I’ve never seen that before at a hotel. Also, the breakfast had lots of things I’ve never seen at any hotel. Cappuccino/ hot chocolate/ coffee maker, a kosher yogurt machine, many toppings for waffles (strawberry and blueberry toppings, blueberry and regular syrup, chocolate chips, sprinkles, cinnamon, cream cheese). There was a granola machine, muffins, bagels, eggs boiled and scrambled, regular and low sugar oatmeal and ketchup, etc. and there was an attendant that was cleaning up and offering help the entire time."

"My sister and I stayed in the Hunter’s Lodge, and were able to visit nearby King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks easily due to its location. LOVED the place. It was a mix of hotel and cabin vibes, with shaded spaces to relax outside and good amenities. It was awesome being next to the restaurant, and they offered options for traveling lunches. The staff were courteous and helpful. When I was sitting in the back patio area, a server asked if I minded if she could smoke there or she could move to the front. Another staff member helpfully offered ideas for what to do at the parks. And the property dogs were adorable, friendly, and also courteous. Housekeeping came by every day and kept the place tidy. It was the perfect price for everything that was offered. If you plan to be out of your room most of the time you were in the area, they offer smaller rooms with less amenities, but we enjoyed spreading out. We bought groceries to save money, but when we ate at the restaurant, the burger, quesadilla and frozen coffee drink were delicious! The only downside was the shower was either boiling hot, good for 1 minute, or freezing, leading to wasted water. Was never able to figure it out but everything else was so good it didn’t matter."
