"Great experience and what a beautiful place in such close proximity to pretty much everything you need to see. Food was great here too so quality and value exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was off the hook and dinners were good too. Nice options. I’d recommend stocking more blue bell ice cream. Nice gift shop as well. Hate they are removing the PO Box that’s hidden at the entrance but I was able to send off a couple post cards. Also man I hate that the area basically took one to the guy from a Forrest fire standpoint, but as I understand Sequoias need occasional fire to clear Forrest floors and heat the cones to produce seedlings but I could tell it was a significant one. But most of those giant Sequoias have survived over 2,000 years which is incredible."

"The cabin is just as described: cozy, and well suited for a single traveler or a couple. The weather was excellent while I was there, so walking between the sleeping quarters and the shower and toilet buildings was no issue, although travelers should bear this in mind if they are expecting inclement weather. The composting toilet was new for me, but there was no appreciable odor. I found all of the accommodations to be very clean, in good condition, and welcoming. The owner responded quickly to all questions and was very pleasant to deal with."
