"Had a pleasant 3-day stay at this hotel during the 2024 solar eclipse. Our room was clean and comfortable, maybe a little bit dated, but we really had no complaints at all. Included in the price was a fantastic homestyle breakfast with lots of options. In the evening, there was a happy hour buffet and bar, also included in the price. There are several restaurant options nearby if you miss the scheduled meal times. There is a small but reasonably weill-equipped fitness center and an indoor/outdoor pool. It is conveniently located close to the intersection of I-57 and I-64, about 20 miles north of Rend Lake State Park. I would definitely stay here again."

"It was very clean and we felt comfortable and safe. The breakfast was actually good. The pool was cold and the hot tub jets didn’t really work but we had the pool to ourselves and we still had a great time. We will stay again."

"Wow! Takes a lot to impress us. But we were amazed. Our room was so clean. The carpet, everything in our room. Walls were painted so nice. The desk clerks were so nice. The lobby was huge, the handy man was working hard. He was doing a great job at painting. The carpet was immaculate. The inside and outside was well manicured. The breakfast area was clean and they had waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, toast etc. I have not seen anyplace this clean not even when I have paid double this. You will not be disappointed. "

"This is the second time I checked in through a kiosk. My first experience wasn’t that good in Florida but it was better here I was greeted with a smile and it was very smooth and quick. Older Motel but the rooms were decent for a night. Breakfast was good. "
