"Staff were great...the cleanliness of our room was very poor...the room was not cleaned...the sheets and floors had hair from previous people stay....contacted the front desk and was told room would be cleaned and it was not when we got back. The next day I was told it would be cleaned and the housekeeper didn’t vaccum, didn't change sheets because the same hair was still on both beds that was not our hair and on the floors...when we checked out and told front desk she was unconcerned...."

"My stay at Beachside Resort in Panama City was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The internet made it look like a great place, but that was very misleading. The room had an unpleasant smell, almost like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. We were given an upgrade, and while the upgraded room was a little better, it still wasn’t anything to brag about. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. I would not stay here again, even if it were free."

"Great property and location!"

"The property location was preferable as it is a mile west of the Pier yet close enough to walk the beach for shopping, etc. Parking is limited and if you park across the street you have to watch for traffic. There is a crosswalk however vehicles will fly by while you are crossing over. The property itself can use some improvements. There was black mold on the bathroom floors, beds could use an upgrade as they felt very worn. There was limited kitchenware an no dish soap so ate out despite having a kitchen. The pool/hot tub were a hit as well as the proximity to the beach. There is soccer pool on the premises as advertised however there were only a small handful of balls, all of which were flat and beaten pretty bad. Asked the front desk clerk if there additional balls or even a ball pump and was told there was a ball for sale in their gift shop. Overall, worth the price if you’re on a budget and/or just looking for a place to shower and sleep however set your expectations accordingly "

"Convenient laundry service. Staff are nice and helpful. There were lots of options to choose from for snacks and drinks. Both the inside and outdoor pools were cleanly and so was the hot tub. I love how it was located in the middle of fort Walton, made it very convenient for all the places we went to visit"
