"The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. My one criticism of the hotel is the very loud DJ music coming from Lefty's which was located just below our room. I believe Lefty's is an extention of hotel. The music didn't stop until midnight."

"Great location and comfortable beds. Parking was extremely difficult. Reserved a spot through Parkade, and every single time we left someone parked in our spot. Could chose a different spot on the app, but too small for our car."

"Overall, we felt like this hotel was a good value for the money. The location was very convenient, about 10 minutes from downtown, with an H-E-B not far from the hotel. The neighborhood is still developing and a little rough around the edges, but we felt safe during our stay. The room itself was nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were on the train-track side of the building, so we did hear trains coming through during the day, but thankfully it wasn’t an issue at night. The pillows were not great, though. They deflated quickly and became misshapen, which made them a little difficult to sleep on. Parking was worth paying for, in my opinion. We used the parking garage and never had trouble finding a spot. The spaces were a little tight, but I was able to get in and out comfortably enough in my 2023 Tacoma. The biggest downside was the breakfast. Everything felt very processed or frozen, and nothing really felt like “real food.” I understand why hotel breakfasts are often done that way, but we only ate it once during our three-night stay and skipped it the rest of the trip. The TV channel selection was also pretty limited. We found one channel that played The Office on repeat and watched that once or twice, then used a laptop to watch a movie another night. All in all, aside from the breakfast, we felt like we got a great deal and that the stay was worth the money."

"Excellent room if you are looking for something affordable and nearby local stores and restaurants! It was easy for us to go get dinner and just walk around at night. They do have a pool, but we didn't get to swim. Looks more like a pool for cooling and wading than actual swimming from the size of it. The room we stayed in was great. It was cool and the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was interesting because the wall did not connect with the ceiling so technically you could hear the person showering or using the restroom. The staff were amazing even when I had the munchies at 3am, there was someone in the lobby that I could grab snacks. The only downside I will warn others about was the wifi. The hotel offers complimentary wifi for the guests but it literally disconnected everytime I tried to connect. Sometimes the wifi didn't even show up as an option. If you are okay without it, then the stay would be totally fine."
