The property is rundown and very dirty. There are zero security measures and the doors keeping non guests out, were broken. The plumbing is so old you can barely shower because the pressure is so low. Do not stay at this hotel.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and located close to East Austin's many restaurants, bars and nightlife options. The downside is that there is quite a bit of street noise and nearby music late into the night (good thing I had earplugs). The staff members were competent, but not overly friendly or accommodating. The hotel definitely tries to present itself as a hipster hangout, though perhaps there is a bit more style than substance. However, I might stay here again if the price was right.

This place is a delight! Fantastic and friendly staff, super convenient layout + location, awesome pool, comfy, clean, laidback... I wanna give this spot a 10/10, however the water pressure in the shower was so weak it was borderline unusable, haha.
