"The experience was terrible right from the start. I booked this reservation in Sep 2025 for a stay in the last weekend of May 2026. When my plans solidified in late April 2026, I tried to adjust the reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights. It was actually more expensive for me to adjust to 2 nights than it was to keep my reservation of 3 nights. When I arrived, the valet did not greet me with a smile and was not particularly helpful. Later into my stay, I asked for a box of tissues (we just ran out). Although the staff was responsive, they did not bring it with a smile. We also ran out of conditioner but did not know until 6am on our third night. The front counter asked us to wait until 7am when housekeeping staff started. We went out per our plans and returned at 9:30am to find that the conditioner still was not replenished. I asked the front counter staff to have late checkout (change from 11am to noon). The first person entered into the system, but I was locked out at 11am. I went downstairs to ask the front counter staff to set up late checkout again to allow me to retrieve my belongings. The second person put it into the system and when I got upstairs, my key card still didn't work. The third time I went down, the front counter person didn't smile, didn't apologize for the inconvenience, didn't provide an explanation, didn't send someone up with me to ensure that my card worked. They just got my card re-programmed and sent me on my way."

"Very disappointing stay for a hotel marketed as a luxury four-star property. The room was expensive, around $260 USD per night, but parking was not clearly disclosed before arrival. Hotel parking was $75, valet was $100, and even the “cheap” option was $35 to park 10 minutes away and shuttle back. We booked a Fallsview room, but at check-in we were immediately given a hard upsell. They claimed there had been a “cancellation” and offered a better falls view room that was supposedly normally $850 for $100 more. I checked Expedia and the same room was only about $100 more there too, not a special deal. It felt scripted, especially since we heard the same pitch given to other guests. After I declined, the staff member’s attitude changed completely and he became cold and annoyed. The Fallsview room itself was misleading. We mostly looked at another hotel, and you had to stand right up against the window and look off to the side to see the falls. No breakfast was included, and breakfast for two would have been another $114. The pool area was disappointing too. Part had caution tape up, one hot tub was drained, and the pool was full of screaming children with no relaxing atmosphere. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows went completely flat as soon as you laid on them. Overall, this was a huge waste of money. Between the parking fees, misleading upsell, disappointing view, no breakfast, poor pool area, uncomfortable room, and cold service, I would not stay here again."

"Didn't know we had to request housekeeping services, so we had to callbdown and have towels brought.up. Requested a luggage cart. Waited 45 minutes and the girl told us we were on the list. Finally at the one hour mark we just took everything ourselves. Stop by the bell hop desk and they said they never got the request. Ugh."
