The underground parking entrance is located on the South side of Gerrard street between Yonge St and Bay St. The hotel underground parking garage has a maximum height restriction of 5 feet, 6 inches in certain areas and cannot accommodate oversized passenger vehicles.
The Family Fun Zone on the 2nd floor, including the swimming pool and waterslide, Teen Lounge, Kid Center, saunas, and self-service laundry facilities, is closed for renovations until the end of January 2026. During this time, the Kid Centre has been relocated to the Club Lounge (27th floor), available Sunday-Thursday from 9 AM-5 PM, and Friday-Saturday from 9 AM-9 PM (closed daily from noon to 1 PM). The pool on the 27th floor is open to all guests from 6 AM-11 PM.
This hotel will enact the following policy for stay dates during Caribana Toronto and New Year's Eve: Each guest must register with the hotel and receive a wristband; no more than 3 wristbands per room. A wristband is required for room access after 9 PM.

It has become my go to hotel if I have to attend events in the Toronto downtown area and walking or public transportation or uber make sense more than trying to use my car..Given its location it is not the quietest place but certainly better than staying right by the 401. The Marketplace restaurant means I can find food when I need it.

The hotel itself was decent. When we first arrived, the room we were given hadn't been cleaned. They were very apologetic and quickly delivered keycards for another room. Pros: actual bathroom with an actual door, no weird window into the main room. Lots of counter space in the bathroom as well. Chromecast built into the TV. Balcony in our room was nice for airing it out quickly (I think the last person to stay in it was a smoker). Lots of restaurants within a block of the hotel so finding somewhere for dinner - and breakfast - was easy. Cons: bathroom is a little dated, wallpaper in a bathroom is weird. No seal on the hotel room door, so light and noise come in all night. Felt like I had to keep the volume down on our TV to not disturb other people. Hotel WiFi kicked me off a few times, which interrupted what I was watching and threw me back to the menu screen. No recycling bin in the room, so we had to pack our recyclables with us when we left.

I needed a lot of directions and the staff was super knowledgeable and lovely! The woman who manned the night-time self-serve food area on Tuesday was so kind and patient with me while I was super hyper and over-exhausted. All of the staff was wonderful!
