"We stayed at The Pool House for our daughter’s graduation from Baylor University. The accommodations were perfect! We were able to have both sets of grandparents stay with us and were able to grill lunch for our family and daughters friends. Wonderful opportunity to fellowship before everyone headed their separate ways. One set of grandparents brought their RV and the hookups were right by the house and very easy. Brock was a great host and answered any and all questions that we had. We would definitely stay again. What wonderful memories for our daughter’s Baylor graduation!"

"Great property! We stayed in this location for my daughter to attend a prom. We have stayed in Marlin hotels (I use this term loosely) several times, I will always book this house from now on! So much better! It was clean, plenty of room, great, quiet location and great communication with the owner. We left a computer behind and she went out of her way to return it."

"Wow!!! This home is absolutely stunning!!! Four roomy, beautifully decorated bedrooms!!! The master bath is heavenly!!! The living room and kitchen were so gorgeous and we loved how open they were so we could all spend time together!!!! The hot tub outside was such an added bonus for us!!! We enjoyed it every single day we were there and we loved being able to watch tv while we were in the hot tub too!!! What a treat!!! We absolutely loved the location too!!! It was literally 9-10miles from magnolia table!!! It literally felt so close to everything in Waco but we loved the feeling of being in the country and having that privacy!!!! Also, the corn fields (we think it was corn… hahaha) we’re gorgeous to look at!!!! We cannot thank the owners enough for sharing their BEAUTIFUL home with us!!!! If you’re questioning whether or not to book… stop now… and BOOK IT!!! You won’t regret it!!!! Best stay ever!!!!"

"We spent Thanksgiving 2022 at the pecan farm and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house overlooks a meadow, with no other house in sight. (The owner’s house is on the property but not so close that you disturb one another.) We enjoyed watching the birds glide around the house, especially an owl that settled in a tree very close to the house. There seemed to be a fire pit close but as it rained almost nonstop we could not make use of it. The beds in each bedroom were perfect -no saggy spots! The hot water was plentiful in both bathrooms. The kitchen appliances and utensils easily accommodated the haul of Thanksgiving foods that I brought with me, There are not many restaurants nearby but there is a great local coffee shop in Calvert. We had plenty of space to spread out for individual time, and a great table for family meals and games."
