"Gary was a wonderful host who welcomed us to this cabin, right on the Lake, with a pizza and good old fashioned hospitality. We were tired from our travels and had a huge load of washing to do and Gary was very accommodating and helpful in allowing us to use nearby facilities. The cabin is rustic and enjoyable to be in. Great reclining couch chairs. Gary had set a fire for us too, such a great guy. The juke box was fun to play and listen to some fantastic music and we also visited the nearby Woodstock museum, which was amazing. Beautiful views, walks along the lake, sunrise and local wildlife. A highlight of our travels. Thanks Gary."

"The Love Shack is a wonderful getaway, as long as you welcome vintage decor. The juke box was great to enjoy while playing board games. Foosball was a blast from the past and provided laughs galore! The owner provided a ready to light fire and even a pizza upon arrival. The couches (one with 2 built in recliners) and beds were comfortable. Outdoor firepit and ping-pong a plus."

"I have family about 40 minutes away, but a great childhood friend who lives 10 minutes away and I wanted to have enough space for everyone to be able to relax. It was pretty perfect."

"We stayed at this lovely bungalo on White Lake as our basecamp while attending the Catbird Festival at Bethel Woods. The location was very conveniently located only a quick 10 min drive to the festival. The house was clean and well furnished to suit all our needs. Check-in & Check-out were effortless and the host was very responsive in answering any questions. I would recommend this property and host for future get-away stays."

"Felt at home with this dwelling in the woods. It was near Bethel and the Woodstock hallowed grounds so that was a bonus for us. All the amenities you needed were included."

"The proximity to Bethel Woods for a concert makes this an ideal place to stay if seeing a show. The property is right on the lake and there is a lovely porch to sit and have coffee and drinks and watch the hummingbirds flutter by. There is a dock with lounges and kayaks available. The 3 full baths are convenient for a group. The communication with the owner was amazing and Yvette was more than accommodating. It was one of the few properties in the area with air conditioning which was key in this heat, however please note the twin bedroom and downstairs bedroom do not have a/c. The downstairs bedroom was a little stuffy. The kitchen was well stocked but definitely a little rustic. The beds were clean and comfortable and plenty of linens. Overall, the house needs some updating, the fuse will blow with the hairdryers on with a/c. That being said, the entire group would return and stay in a second."
