Numerous major highways have access Seattle/Tacoma Washington Airport (SEA). They are I-405, Route 509 S, I-5 S and State Route 518 off I-95. The airport is approximately 12 miles south of downtown Seattle in SeaTac, Washington, and three miles south of Boise Idaho, on S Vista Avenue in Ada County, is Boise Airport (BOI). Seattle has regular flights to Boise, and flight times are usually 55 minutes. Ground transportation services are located at the lower level of the airport, outside baggage claims.
Boise has a large population of Spanish Immigrants that settled in 1910. Their rich culture is brought back to life in the Basque Block with bars, restaurants and the Basque Museum & Cultural Centre. Enjoy floating and tubing at the Boise River, or visit Julia Davis Park; home to the Idaho State Historical Museum.
The city is popular among professionals as a meeting or convention destination. Boise's bus system The ValleyRide, provides low cost transport around the city. If you are on a tight schedule, a rental car is your best option, but if you have more time and a bit of energy; take advantage of the widespread network of bicycle trails crisscrossing the city.
