The Arabia Steamboat Museum contains most of the cargo from the steamship Arabia, which sunk in 1856, and was rediscovered 132 years later with its treasure intact. Union Station is a major tourist attraction that used to function as a huge rail hub ready to accommodate 10,000 passengers. After closing down in the 1980's and undergoing renovations, it re-opened to the public with modest services.
