"Valet parking as soon as you pull up was convenient and easy and they were all very friendly. The building was beautiful, breakfast (room service) was great! The bartender was great and there were good selections/options available. Having the little coffee bar downstairs was super nice so we didn't have to try to rush to a cafe early for a great coffee. Rooms themselves were clean and well decorated (our room could've used an updated rug as ours had seen a great amount of ware and tear but the in room amenities were good and the water pressure and temperature were great. If you sleep with a lot of pillows you'll definitely need to ask for extras or bring your own as theirs were not good but the bed was comfortable. We were a bit disappointed that the main restaurant was closed during our stay but overall the staff was friendly, attentive, and informative, the location was great - walkable to so many things - and the amenities checked our boxes as well. Will be staying again! "

"We will probably not re book this property. The building and location are great and walking distance easily to grab streetcar- that part was awesome. We were never greeted at anytime entering or leaving building. —staff acted like they didn’t want to be there. Thank yous were said but only at check out. The place was not busy- but getting ready for FIFA crowds. No one we asked- valet and front desk could tell us where the streetcar station was…? It’s literally around the corner. We didn’t get housekeeping as she came at 4ish and we had just returned for the day to get ready for dinner plans. . She was dismissive and didn’t offer any towels or anything. We just stated that we had just returned. Floor/ carpet was wet in areas at check in. Everything else was clean and nice. Requested a fan a couple of times. We did receive it- but front desk seemed annoyed for the request. I love KC and we were on a staycation. I was disappointed that this would be the energy for all the excitement about to happen around town. We had a great time- but the staff definitely were not interested in our stay:(."

"Wonderful hotel!! Beautiful, clean and spacious. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free breakfast in the morning since it was our 20th anniversary. Our room was spotless. The bathroom was large with a huge shower. Our bed was very comfortable. The Rooftop Bar was fun. They had delicious drinks and a great view of the KC skyline."
