In the heart of downtown near Dallas Union Station, you'll find the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza which solemnly reflects on his life and work. The Reunion Tower, a 50-story high structure with a dome at the top, is nearby.
To the northwest of there, you will find the Dallas Museum of Art and the decidedly urban Dallas World Aquarium, which features rainforests and pools full of electric eels and jellyfish.
In the Oak Cliff neighborhood, you'll find the Bishop Arts District in which there are plenty of classy eateries like the Greek Café and Bakery, Espumoso Caffe, and Eno's Pizza Tavern.

In 2014, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) opened a light rail station at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. The station is located in between Terminal A and Terminal B and will get you downtown via DART's Orange Line.
