Cheap flights from New York (NYC) to Buffalo (BUF)

La Guardia Airport (LGA) is only four miles from Manhattan and the flight duration from LGA to Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) is only about 48 minutes.

BUF is located on the Kensington Expressway. You can choose to rent a car, hail a taxi or even hop aboard a bus. Most of the transportation options will provide access to the southern portion of Ontario, as well.

Attractions and Tips

To get a close look at some of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work, check out The Martin House Complex. Tours go through the buildings as well as the landscape, showing off some of the artistic furnishings.

The Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park is more than just a museum as it takes you through some of the ships from World War II. Nearby at the boardwalk, you can rent a kayak and explore the waters right next to the submarine.

In the winter, snow is quite common, but it doesn’t always stick around. You might see some bare ground during that time or even some rain. Expect to see lots of sun and dry weather in the summertime. Breezes coming off Lake Erie can cool down temperatures on hot days, making the atmosphere pleasant.
