Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is located just nine miles southwest of Cleveland, Ohio’s central district. It can be accessed via the Berea Freeway (I-71 S).
Flights from CLE to Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) usually last for three hours. Dallas or Fort Worth can be reached by traveling south to I-30, then going either east or west depending on your destination.
At the airport, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and shuttle services are available for public transport.
Both Dallas and Fort Worth are rich in culture. In Dallas, visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the Dallas Zoo, Dallas World Aquarium, Klyde Warren Park, Reunion Tower or Pioneer Plaza.
In Fort Worth, don't miss the Fort Worth Zoo, Kimbell Art Museum, Sundance Square, Amon Carter Museum of American Art, Vintage Flying Museum or the iconic Stockyards.
This area of Texas sees hot, humid summers and dry winds, so expect heat waves when coming here during the summer months. Autumn and spring can be quite pleasant with mild temperatures, but winter lows can drop into the 30s, so don’t be afraid to bring light layers.
Both downtowns feature modern high-rise luxury hotels, but cheaper accommodations can be found between the cities or away from the central areas.
