From TV Talent to Worldwide Sensation

Daughtry got its start in 2006 after lead singer Chris Daughtry snagged fourth place in the fifth season of American Idol. Riding high on the momentum of his success, he quickly signed with a label and put together his band. Their self-titled debut album was an instant success, with singles like "It's Not Over," "Home," and "What About Now" becoming radio mainstays. The album went on to hit 4x platinum status and snagged them honors like New Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards and Top New Artist at the Billboard Music Awards. Daughtry started a rigorous touring schedule, performing with superstars like Bon Jovi, 3 Doors Down, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Nickelback. In 2009 Leave This Town was the band's second No. 1 album, with Break The Spell following in 2011 and Baptized in 2013.

Spring 2018 Tour

Chris Daughtry announced his Spring 2018 tour on Facebook. As a season 5 alum of the show American Idol you can imagine that the post got a lot of positive feedback. The tour began March 3rd in Clearwater, Florida. The tour ran until April 20th in Miami, Florida. Through the tour he traveled all over Florida.

Daughtry 2021 Tour

Daughtry went back on tour in 2021 for The Dearly Beloved Tour featuring Sevendust, Tremonti and Travis Bracht. The late fall tour started in November in Providence. The bands headed around the country at some of the major cities to perform in front of as many fans as possible. They performed in Atlantic City, Denver, Las Vegas, New Orleans and more. The last show of the tour was in Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Roxy venue. Daughtry does not go on tour every year, get tickets to see the next show near you!
