Career History

Abbas Hamad was born in Paris in 1987. He was raised in France until the age of 8, when his family moved to New York City. Bas released his first two mixtapes in 2011 and 2013, by which point he was taken notice by rap legend J. Cole. He would go on to appear on Revenge of the Dreamers, Dreamville Records' compilation tape. He released Last Winter later in 2014, which debuted at 103 on the Billboard 200 list. He developed as a performer after hitting the road for his Last Winter tour and following it with an international tour with Ab-Soul. His next album, Too High to Riot, performed better than his previous album reaching the 49 spot. More recently, Bas released the single for his third album, "Boca Raton", which featured rap mogul A$AP Ferg. He released Milky Way later in the year, which reached the 35 spot on the Billboard 200. The album was pushed by the J. Cole collaboration "Tribe".

Milky Way Tour 2019

Bas announced his massive 43-city Milky Way tour via Instagram, which will conclude late February. This tour is a huge jump from his previous 28-city Too Hot to Riot tour.
