Neat old mansion near U of T. Awesome pub next door with great food and drinks. Can be a bit noisy during pub hours but well worth it! It’s old and creaky but enjoyable.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered free wi-fi. There was a pub next door. The Royal Ontario Museum was four blocks away.

The Manager that checked us in after hours was wonderful. I had a bad fall over a sill while entering the hotel and he waited patiently for me to get up and continue to the unit. He got me ice and water and was very kind. The unit was comfortable and quiet. Overall a great stay. I could have done without the fall, of course, day 3 post fall and still in pain!!

Came from across the country for a weekend of Blue Jays games. Hotel is 4km from stadium(walking distance). Checked in late(11pm) Friday night, was told ahead of time to come to see the pub* manager next door for check-in, did not expect to be arriving at a night club*! Once I spoke with a bouncer, they were welcoming and very helpful, held the party patrons' line aside and guided us to the office. Apparently this pub is THE place to be on a weekend, rockin' until 2am! From the room we were given, the noise was NOT excessive, comfortable background noise competing with the room air conditioner. Stayed 2 nights, quaint, 200? year old building with tonnes of character, awesome. Didn't see any guest or staff in the hotel for the times we were present, which was just to sleep. Perfect hotel for my needs for this stay. Thank you.

Not noisy at all

I was initially worried after reading about the noise, but the hotel turned out to be very quiet. I didn’t stay over a weekend, and they placed me in the room farthest from the pub, which likely contributed to the experience. Overall, my stay was great. Excellent location and excellent prices (Toronto hotels are so expensive!).

We really liked the shift manager. Regretfully, I can’t remember his name. We arrived around 8 PM with several other people who were not in our party. He helped several of us with the Parking ticket machine that was malfunctioning. He repeatedly reminded us if we need anything. He was available. Very good customer service!
