Inconvenience from beginning of stay and at the very end. In my opinion, first impression is paramount. Beginning of our arrival, we couldn’t unlock into our room twice, even after given new sets of keys. We met up with a security guard who led us into our room, followed by engineering and another security staff. Their rushed renovation was crippled with noticing flaws like an open air vent, dried blotches of paint on flooring, and missing bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The next morning, Grace from front desk knew of our situation and simply upgraded our room, which was a great save to our experience until the early morning of our departure. There was no water and our party had an early flight out. This issue was a major setback and it left a bad image on this property since there weren’t any notices issued nor notices visible for patrons knowing early ahead of time; maybe post the notice on the elevator since there’s a greater foot traffic- not everyone will be checking in with the front desk daily to hear/see updates; furthermore, it would be nice if front desk clerks had given a courtesy reminder on this issue. Clearly this issue was a last minute ordeal that became everyone’s issue in the end. Thanks for the seven years but I will have to think long and hard to return back to your property next year.
