The kids and I enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the little ones loved the food from the Bistro restaurant on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful, service was excellent. The location is perfect if you want to be in walking distance of as many shops and restaurants as possible. We will be staying there again when next we visit Toronto.

The property was not dirty, but did not meet my standard that I have with Marriott properties. There were scuff marks on walls, chipped paint, itchy towels, odd smells at times, etc. We had to switch rooms at one point and staff was very accommodating and helpful. However, neither bathroom had a ventilation system for the shower. The bathroom lighting was poor. There was construction going on so it was noisy during the day.

Decent place. Rooms were a bit lackluster. Didn’t provide trash bags until asked. Previous guest mess still lingering. Loose door handles. Besides that stuff the hotel was decent. Staff were nice and accommodating. The concierge never got back to me about food. So I’m guessing they weren’t knowledgeable about the area. Overall 3/5 I wouldn’t go back. Unless it was last resort.

We spent 4 nights at the Marriott in August and had a very nice stay. The staff are really great and the breakfasts served at the Bistro are amazing. The location is very walkable and the subway is close.
