Stayed one night, and it was a good stay. The building and facilities were a bit outdated looking, but everything was as advertised and worked. Usually there is something dirty in most hotels I stay in, but honestly, this room was very clean. Only needed to interact staff once to get key card, but interaction was quick and easy. Would stay again, especially because it was affordable relative to other places in the area.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. It’s an older motel, but it’s kept in excellent, very clean condition. Since Covid I’ve gotten used to not having the room cleaned every day, but the staff cleaned it daily, and immaculately!

Good for a motel

For a roadside motel, this one is better than others. Very clean, room was comfortable, nice size refrigerator and microwave. They do have housekeeping and we received fresh towels, which is getting to be rare among even some of the chain hotels. The bathroom was clean, but small and the fan was very loud. I strongly recommend bringing your own products. A new shower curtain would make a huge difference, as would some type of shelf. The property is well maintained though, and the area is very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores (Wegman's and Price Chopper are very close by). We stayed for SU Family Weekend when better hotels were either booked or price gouging, this Budget Inn was adequate for a cheap price. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep, this was fine.

I'm not sure why all the love for this property but it is definitely "budget". The place is actually a motel, not a hotel, so be advised. The rooms are very outdated, dank, and humid. While the staff was friendly, that's about the only positive. I chose this place from the high praise reviews and it certainly would have been better to spend an extra $20 to get a far nicer place. Beds are not really beds but basically just fold-out beds, with thin mattresses and a straight, wire grid bed frame. Shampoo is a thin ketchup-pack dollop of liquid, that is impossible to open. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s, but at least the water was hot (though low pressure and an ancient showerhead). Dank lighting in the bathroom (one of the old $5 glass globes with a 40-watt bulb is the sole source of light) and though there were several lamps around the room, the room itself was pretty dark as well. The in-wall AC was loud and noisy but did the job. The highway is fifty yards off the backside of the rooms, so traffic noise is an is. The second floor is completely handicap/elderly inaccessible, with no elevator. No breakfast is provided. The ice machine is a hole in the wall near the front desk. No food to speak of at the property. Wendy's is about a 10-15 minute walk away, so plan accordingly. No airport shuttle. It's about a ten-minute drive from the terminal, so you need a car or Uber. Free parking in the lot. If you need a place to crash, it will suffice.

I was surprised by the amount of positive responses to a Budge Inn, but it they were all justified. The staff is wonderful. They even have swings, a slide and jungle gym for the kids. Definitely, a great place for the money.
