Grand Riviera Princess Playa Del Carmen i booked from Expedia.com i paid for everything then i arrived at resort they charged me again for my three-year old baby . Front desk lady said if you don't pay now we can't give you the room key. But I already paid by Expedia.com. they charged me $150 again i paid i asked why you charged me she said that's expedia problem she said at front desk three-year old baby is big kid that by you have to pay she scammed me for $150 Expedia call resort and resort customer service they don't listen

Love the natural beauty of the resort! Unfortunately there was a lot of construction blocking off a very large majority that we were not notified of in advance. The fitness center, some dining locations and bars were closed or relocated and this was sadly something that may prevent us from another visit since we weren’t even made aware upon check in. Otherwise the staff, food, services, and overall experience was great!

This was the second visit to this property.Overall was gret stay but we didn’t know that the property was partially under construction,but the place was very quiet and everything runs smoth. It was a great experience, I highly recommend this resort through Expedia, great pools great food great staff great rooms, just that is under construction half of the resort they should drop the price because of it, you can’t enjoy the whole resort until is completed, other then that is perfect

My husband and i are in live with this place, second time visiting and already planning a 3rd trip. It was a little different this time with the construction happening in the property, kinda cut the amenities for us and some restaurants were improvised but, food was still delicious and customer service is alway delightful. We can't wait to try the new rooms!

We were delighted to find our perfect room in the Platinum suites, which offered fantastic amenities that truly enhanced our stay. I particularly loved the exclusivity of the pool, cabana, and beach lounges, providing a serene atmosphere to relax in. The place was very clean just need to be update and TVs also need to be update!! They also need to put people room numbers on the bracelet if the are going to let people get so drunk that they dont know there room number, we had a men trying to break in our room at 1:30 am beating on the door and kicking it for 30 minutes and i had to call security and nobody even apologized i didn't get any sleep cause i was so scared.

We booked this hotel from September 8th to 13th. But when we arrived, we were treated well. The bad thing was that half the hotel was closed for renovations! We paid for this hotel to have all the amenities, and I don't think it's fair that we weren't warned that many things would be closed. There was a lot of noise from the construction, and it felt unprivileged to walk past the people working. It made it look unsightly because it's divided by a green fence.
