"This property is in a vibrant downtown area with lots of restaurant and shopping options, in addition to access to train and bus service into New York City. I grew up in the area and this has become my go-to hotel when I come for events/visits from my home in Vermont."

"The listing said there were 2 king beds and there was only one. The faces of the cabinets were falling off and one of the kitchen drawers was also busted. Cobwebs throughout the property. Holes in walls covered up by curtains. Electrical outlets that didn’t work. Broken toilet seat. Furniture and linens VERY different than shown. Basement does not look like what is shown. 2 bedrooms in basement (not shown) with no heat, and very dungeon looking. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The listing is extremely deceiving. I was also only sent check in instructions because I called him 45 minutes before we got there, never received check out instructions. We paid a decent amount of money for 2 nights and we feel like we got robbed."

"We booked the property for a two month stay. While there is no mention of washer and dryer, we assumed a 4 bedroom house would have that. It did not. Not great for a long term stay. The dishwasher and oven were broken, and were fixed after a month of being in the property. While the owner was communicative throughout the process, the speed at which things were repaired meant it was not possible for us to complete our stay as it did not have the core essentials that a family would need. The second floor bedrooms have low ceilings, small windows (not sure they are able to be counted as bedrooms legally because of the window size and ceiling height). The walls had holes in some places, which we had to cover for the safety of our children."
