"The room was small and it was difficult for a 6 ft man to sit on the toilet without hitting his head on the toilet door. The TV didn't work in our first room but the rooms were comfortable and warm. Despite being next to a busy airport we could not hear the planes.
We were bumped from our flight October 21st as we had not had Covid tests within 72 hours of our flight time. We had received no notification from our booking agency, the airline we were booked on or the airline that operated our flight that these were still necessary. The staff at Ibis were most helpful: they let us book for a second night and let us sit in the lounge for hours while we called these agencies. They provided us with electrical connectors to enable us to use our American computers on UK electricity systems.
Our flight booking firm had no available telephone number and we were unable to get through to the airline that we were booked with, but eventually we got through to the airline that were operating our flight and were told that we could fly with 'Air France', one of their partners, the next day after our Covid tests can back negative.
