The room had a funny smell to it as soon as I went in. The room was abnormally hot which meant I had to try and have the window open. With this however, it was freezing. I slept so poorly as the bed was not comfortable at all. It was not a great stay at all. I would like a response please. Many thanks Ryan Stevens

Good big clean and tidy room. Nice shower. Had breakfast both days and good range of food available. Consent being filled. Ate dinner one night and although not a big menu the food was good. Very convenient for the MEC which was perfect for what we needed

I’m guessing the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment, as some parts appear quite tired and dated. The hotel was also noisy because the doors didn’t have soft-close functionality at a guess

Nice hotel but I was surprised to discover that parking cost an extra £15. This should be made clearer on the website booking portal. Broadband was free and a good speed - which is a pleasant change in a UK hotel.

This is the Green One

booked this Ibis by mistake instead of the one opposite departures, but this was more spacious, lovely walk in shower, easy walk to both the airport and the nec.

Did not have a great start. The room was not ready and was told this was due to a death ln the team. While this is understandable I find it quite inappropriate to share with customers. We were directed to the bar area, after nearly 2 hours we went to ask about our room. The receptionist got extremely defensive and said "I told you your room was ready age ago". Apparently she has shouted this over to us, I am hard of hearing but my husband who is not, did not hear this also. No really form of accountability or apology, she just said to a colleague "just give them a drinks voucher", then walked off. She had long black hair and was Irish. We had a lovely exchange with the lady at the bar, she was blonde with tattoos. The next issue was we were woken at 2.30 am to the fire alarm. There were no members of staff outside. When the alarm did stop about half an hour later there was one member of staff in the lobby, no explanation or form of apology. Breakfast was lovely. Next issue was that our check out tome was 12, despite this we had cleaners try to come in the room twice. Luckily we had a lock over the door.

The room was ok. However, we wanted a coffee but there was only 1 decaff coffee 2 sugars and 1 milk. Nothing else. A bit dissapointing. We went downstairs but was told everything including the bar was closed. No drinks available.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the airport and is nice, clean and modern. Unfortunately, it is also extremely noisy well into the night (past 2am) with guests getting a start on their holiday drinking and partying.

Stayed just one night before flying from BHX. Convenient (7-10 minute ) walk to railway station and link to airport. Room and facilities were excellent and bed very comfortable. Some parts of the room were starting to look a little tired but this is unavoidable. Ate in the restaurant. Great food and friendly service. Enjoyed my stay and will be back.

No issues overall was a good stay. I did arrive at early hours and the night staff didn't seem happy to see me but it was 4am. Other than that everything was fine have stayed here before and was better than a previous stay

This hotel was very convenient for the NEC. Our room was lovely, warm and had everything we needed for our overnight stay.The bar lounge was really welcoming and comfortable, had a very relaxed evening. The bar staff were excellent,smiley and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The breakfast was lovely, as were the dining room girls. Fantastic stay,if we visited the NEC again, we would definitely book here again. Well recommended.
