Comfortable bed but room lacked basics like a kettle etc. There was a facility to get hot drinks in a dedicated place on the 1st floor but didn't fancy going in my PJs.

Room was covered in hair up in the bunk bed. We had a disability room and was no lock on the bathroom. We didn’t need a disabled room, and was awkward to shower a child in. The bunk bed was not made up, so when asked at reception, we were given laundry packs and had to make the bed ourselves.

It was fine - comfortable bed, ok shower & toilet, bathroom a little dated but perfectly clean and functional. Pleasant staff at reception and in the bar. A bedside lamp would have been appreciated rather than just the main room light. No tea and coffee in the room, but available 24/7 on the first floor, not the most convenient when you're on the 5th floor but manageable. Overall, really convenient for the airport and Birmingham International train station (though it would have been useful to have walking directions to both at reception, given that that's where 99% of guests would be going). However as a solo traveler a minimum of £100/night is stretching the definition of "budget" ! Fortunately accepts Tesco clubcard vouchers through hotels.com

Quick check in, room basic abd small but only sleeing untill 4am so ok, think alk rooms should have a kettle, i brought one with me so ok, food usual choice and exagerated price, to be expected, so a reasonably cheap complete deal for airport hotel which is literally 5 min walk to the airport
