Compare Cheap Hotels in San Clemente

"My family and I stayed at the hotel from a Friday through Tuesday this past weekend and our expectations were not met by any means. The parking spaces are very tight and not easy to maneuver around in a big SUV full of family members. There are also not many parking spots available. The elevator was misnumbered and actually had blue painters tape written on the inside of the elevator with the numbers on them. It didn’t matter if you press the up or the down button, it went both directions whether you wanted it to or not, so you never knew what floor you were going to get off on. The telephone in the room was broken as well as the coffee maker. Only one of the two televisions worked. The patio door was hard to maneuver and was off track so it was difficult to close and lock. The pillows were so uncomfortable we actually went to Walmart to purchase pillows just for the weekend. The breakfast was mediocre at best and just full of carbohydrates. We only ate there one morning and went out to eat the rest of the mornings. While the staff was kind and considerate, they were unable to assist in all of our families needs. On Monday, we were completely out of hot water for the day. That was extremely unfortunate as that was my daughter’s wedding day. Yes, she got married on a Monday because it was much cheaper at the golf course to get married on a weekday versus the weekend. In my daughter‘s room, she actually didn’t even have a working outlet. All in all it was just a joke of a stay."

"Hotel was just that! A hotel, with few amenities. No end tables, but the best parts was 1. the fridge in the room seemed new, was very cold, 2. There was an iron AND an actual ironing board in the room. However, the iron was leaking down the cord from the back. My sister’s hair dryer was sparking. No pool, or patio to sit out in either, and very outdated. Otherwise, staff was great, friendly, and helpful and hotel was within walking distance of a lot of different business and close to beach. "

"San Clemente Inn has great amenities including a pool, pickelball/tennis courts, mini golf, grilling area, etc! You could spend all day just enjoying the hotel. It could be a bit cleaner. We were slightly disappointed they didn’t clean our room once during our whole stay. Overall it’s in a great location and we would stay there again!"
