"The hotel was clean and well located to many attractions. The rooms were comfortable and the bed VERY comfortable. I liked that the hotel was attached to the Italian restaurant we chose to go to. I was very disappointed in check in, there was one computer working, the staff didn’t look at you when asking questions, it was hard to hear because the lobby was loud. I liked that they had a small cafe in the hotel BUT it only is open to 11, they ran out of a lot of liquor so drinks were Ltd., no coffee, no sugar for tea, they weren’t serving food anymore because it was after 10. All in all, we had a pleasant trip into the city, the issues that came up didn’t spoil our trip but it was disappointing considering the location and price."

"Overall, this is a very nice hotel in a great location. But when you pay this much, your expectations really go up. The room was large and the bed and furnishings were very nice, but the bathroom was very small with nowhere to set clothes while showering and the front desk staff was snarky about lending me an umbrella (“don’t you have one in your closet?” In fact no I do not). Other staff were much nicer and the fitness center is quite nice by NYC hotel standards. It is nice to be on a quiet street (by lower Manhattan standards) and we walked to Broadway shows, museums and Central Park easily. Perhaps I expect too much for $600+ per night."
