"When I initially arrived the front Car Park was full but fortunately saw the sign for extra parking at the back . That was quite full too but found a space , just ! The welcome by the staff was really nice and the bar and restaurant staff were all really good . I was just passing through for 1 night . My tea in the restaurant was excellent and the buffet style breakfast in the morning was very good ."

"We found this hotel to be very well ran, Clean very 5 star. Great well trained staff, don't take room service this was very poor. The room was perfect with every amenity. Cleaning on request, very comfortable VERY WHEELCHAIR UNFRIENDLY STEPS AT EVERY TURN, NO RAMPS OF ANY KIND. WE HAD TO ENTER BY THE BACK DOOR. THIS WAS VERY Disappointing."

"My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker, selection of high quality teas. There was a large bathroom and a super king size bed. Breakfast was nice, not outstanding but nice. The swimming pool was the big treat. Beautifully warm and the highlight of the stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly. This hotel is special and situated next to the Market Square which had lovely coffee shops, quaint shops and enticing pubs. Can’t wait to go back so thank you to all the staff especially Ali xxxxxx"
