We stayed in an upgraded room which was fantastic except the shower pressure was diabolical. Breakfast was amazing, bed was really comfortable, staff were wonderful. We stayed in a non upgraded room a day before this stay and the shower was amazing but the room was really tired. Again the bed was super comfy and brekkie wonderful.

The bathroom decoration and fittings were tired and not well maintained with chips in the enamel bath, stains holes in the walls, seals peeling and missing, however the bedroom are was clean and the bed was comfy.

The walls in the room could do with a damn good clean it looked like there had been water running down them yuk And the walls in the bathroom needed a good scrub and then painted I would have moved but I would have lost my money. We had a relative in hospital so needed close by. I’m sure it all needs refurbished.

The room/bathroom was clean, comfortable & had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. No complaints and would happily stay again. Plenty of free on site parking is also a bonus.:)

Bluebell Lodge- Middlesbrough

Was clean, beds comfy & very good fry-up ..Think the hotel needs to purchase more sturdy juice dispensers at breakfast time as very flimsy. Dinner- both times requesting dessert was told none… either say at time if ordering or have a board saying.. also didn’t appreciate all tvs very loud when eating - surely there could be a seperate place for peace to eat dinner without tv?

Parking was great. Plenty of it and just register on tablet at reception to ensure no charge. Didn’t eat in property as there was a wedding reception going on and very busy. Room was adequate and good for budget price but with a few upgrades could be so much better. Bed was comfortable and clean. The shower screen needed a deep clean as there was mould in the rubber seals and some corroded metal parts on it too. Overall we had a comfortable, undisturbed night.
