Friendly desk staff, entrance smells good it was clean and all but i booked 2 queen beds room and they changed it to 1 queen bed with a desk and a table and called it an upgrade. Wayever i didnt complain about it but then we woke up to a rat or small animal scratching the walls from the inside and we couldnt leave any sooner. Breakfast was in the basement. I would not go back

Truly the strangest hotel room ever. It was super expensive for a small room and the room had a frosted glass wall exposing the bathroom to the rest of the room. Definitely not ideal for friends staying together for travel.

The staff was really poor (mainly Claudia Fernandez), I booked a room 5 months before the check-in, and they were not able to hold the room properly, so they placed us into an upgraded room and told us this would be our unique room for our 10 days stay, but 2 days later from our checkin, after we had placed out all of our clothes, the surprise came when they told us that we have to move to another room or move out from the hotel, with this words: move out or leave the hotel, they just offered us 6 beers in compensation, with all the arrogance at her best, even we asked fot a Consumer Complaint Form, they told us that they won’t give it top us until we move out from the bedroom. Scam hotel, or Claudia Fernandez is the worst front office I’ve ever seen. The rest is normal.

Our stay at the Wyndham Garden Chinatown was absolutely perfect. Our room had a beautiful view of the Manhattan Bridge and the One World Trade Center, waking up and going to sleep with that view was truly worth it. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and honestly, anyone complaining about this hotel doesn’t know what they’re talking about. The shower was excellent as well. The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and drink options, all very well organized and delicious. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive. A special thank-you to Claudia Fernandez, who helped me a lot before and during our stay, always replying to my emails very quickly. And also to Justine, who decorated our room with balloons for my fiancée’s birthday. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special. The location is perfect, with easy access to the subway and all major attractions within 15–20 minutes. Everything was flawless. Highly recommend.
