Staff is nice, but the property isn’t clean and the outlets in the room didn’t all work. There isn’t any ventilation in the bathroom so there’s peeling paint and a mildew smell. Ice room also smells like mildew and ice machine was visibly dirty. Carpets in common areas have huge stains. This hotel is also a 20 minute walk from the riverwalk and nice restaurants. Most of the area is closed or boarded up.

Parking is horrendous, the hotel is on a one way street with limited public parking. If you want to park in the hotel parking. It will cost you$$$. There are restaurants in walking distance but keep in mind many of them are 20 to 30 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

Good spot in town, but it’s not the ritz. Biggest thing is: parking is extremely expensive (almost $50 a night unless you park in the garage across the street, which is $30 a night). Just use the garage if you get a car (or hold off on the car, as things are walkable, and there are plenty of busses out to the bayou).
