Nice facilities and staff but food way too expensive for what you get. Would work on improving the value customers get from food. Liked the number of dining options but again way more than expensive than it should be.

This property was very nice but the prices for food and drink were insane. So just be mindful of this before booking. I have stayed in very nice places and traveled all around the world and what they charge here for food and drinks was absurd and that’s the only reason I don’t plan on ever coming back. To give you an example we got a chicken wrap to split and two vodka lemonade drinks and the total was $93. We had to leave property to get a bottle of vodka and make our own drinks for the remainder of our trip which isn’t fun on vacation!

Having traveled all over the world, I would say that the Hyatt Grand Baha Mar hits the mark in certain areas but falls dreadfully short in others. The facilities are wonderful but the dining is grossly overpriced and the fees charged are absurd. I am not a cheap person by any stretch of the imagination but the Hyatt should be ashamed of this type of gouging.
