Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was excellent from start to finish. Everything about the resort was top-tier — clean, well-maintained, and beautifully laid out. The beach was amazing, the food was very good, and the staff were incredibly nice, welcoming, and pleasant throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with no complaints at all. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, huge resort for a 5 day stay we did not see all the hotel(s) had to offer...first time here with the family, we stayed at the east tower on the 11th. floor, our room to my surprise was not upkept and not maintained....it felt room was cleaned in a rush...bathroom body soap dispenser broken, keurig coffee machine dirty inside pod insert, and room was dark overall because one bulb near bed area was dimming, because of this we gave 4 stars, we did not complain because of the reaction we got for trying to change a hot pot with what looked like rust stains inside.

Staff was pleasant. Some food was delicious, some items were not worth the price. All of the pools were filled with kids and the only adult pool for grand Hyatt guests had to be paid for to be at. The resort should have one pool that kids are not allowed to swim that is included in the stay. Beautiful resort.

This is a beautiful and clean hotel. Also sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. If you stay here, be prepared for crowds; the pool area, beach, etc. Maybe because it's January and many people are trying to escape from the cold(like me), or perhaps it's like this all the time. Not sure. So many children and families with infants and toddlers. So, if you're looking for more of a relaxing vibe, I would probably choose a different hotel. Be prepared for INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE FOOD if you're eating here. Even the food trucks on the beach were expensive, and the food was just average. We took a taxi into downtown Nassau a couple a times because we wanted to eat Bahamian food(which you will not find in the restaurants in the hotel). Taxi's were a minimun $25.00 each way, but a least you can get off of the property if you don't have a rental car. This seems to be a great hotel for families(especially with children). Shout out to Shuang Ba(one of the restaurants). The food was delicious.

Bedrooms were nice, hotel was clean, pool area area was beautiful, however, the service at fine dining was seriously lacking for the prices. Additionally, the cigar bar suffered the same fate of Service. At these price points, Service needs to be impeccable. We should not have to look for our waiters for 20 minutes or find a waitress at the cigar bar for a lighter that takes 35 minutes. It didn’t just happen one night we stayed there for a week and it was repetitive theme.

Clean room with a fountain view, exceptionally courteous staff, great amenities including Baha bay, regatta buffet, heated pools, flamingo parade, sanctuaries, casino, fountain show - you’ll get everything under one roof.
