A small vintage motel on a busy street just at the edge of old Monterey, but very clean, comfortable and well maintained rooms. The weather was too brisk to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but the fire pit and patio set up was charming. There was coffee and tea, but no breakfast.

Positives: Seems the building was recently painted and looked nice. Beds were soft, which I like. Bathroom seemed like something you'd normally see in someone's home, not a hotel... appreciated that. Negatives: The parking spaces were a little tight, but it seemed like there were enough for the number of rooms available. We could hear the upstairs neighbor a bit, but it was never booming. Overall, we really liked this hotel and even recommended it to family members.
