Comfortable sleep. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most everything clean. Floor (carpet) was really stained and needed to be replaced. Furniture somewhat dated. Overall, would probably stay here again.

Check in alone was a terrible experience with them making mistakes and never apologizing. The pool was old, dirty, and rusty from years of use and the pictures online were very deceiving. I left two items in the room by mistake and they were never recovered which is a lie. I had to call 3 times to get some information about my lost items. We will never be going back.

For how much I paid I was disappointed

Parking was easy, the room was clean, the staff was nice. Our issues were with the weird check in kiosk, the room was utilitarian, the beds were too hard, the pillows too soft, and the worst part was how bright it was in the room at night because of the 3 security parking lot lights. I could see clearly in the dark all night long even with the blinds shut as tight as they could go. My recommendation, ditch the kiosk that was hard to understand, put up a picture and a colorful blanket on the bed to put some color in the small white box of a room, get a medium soft bed and firmer pillows, and some blackout curtains for that room!

Hotel was within walking distance of downtown Monterey. Parking was easy, having the key be your last 4 digits of a phone number worked out okay. Only negative was that they never provided me with the wifi password at check in

Good value for money. This was a “cheaper” night on our road trip but had everything we needed. Nothing fancy, but rooms were clean! The day we arrived they were trialing a virtual front desk attendant which we found quite strange. Luckily they still had an actual human there to help with hiccups.
