I would never accuse anyone unless I was absolutely sure, but my gold bracelet was stolen from my room. I had placed it inside a bag on the counter — my mistake for not using the safe, but I’ve never had to worry about that in any other hotel before. When I told management, they said they’d check the room key record to see if anyone besides us or housekeeping entered, which completely misses the point — obviously, only housekeeping would have access. They also asked me to fill out a report right as I was checking out, when I was in a rush to run some errands before catching my flight. I told them I’d complete it when I came back to pick up my bags, but they insisted they would have to “note in my file” that I was delaying the process, which felt unnecessary and unhelpful given the situation. It had both financial and sentimental value, and losing it completely ruined my trip. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would strongly urge others to keep all valuables locked in the safe — or better yet, choose another place to stay.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location: fantastic access to food, stores, beach. AC was great... kept the room COLD! Pool area was nice too. Staff was friendly for the most part. Some were super awesome, others were pleasant enough. Shower was weird... narrow and no door/curtain so water got all over the floor. No in-room mini/honor bar (not a big deal), elevator acted up quite a bit. Overall enjoyed the stay, and the art deco/70s vibe was fabulous (and so was the music)! Cool place.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience we had! The property was beautiful (multiple pools, gym, good design, not at the loud end of Ocean), our room was amazing (def spring for the ocean view), the restaurant was lovely - but the crowning glory here is the STAFF!! Tanesha, Shabine, Marlon, Oscar, Eric and the GM Noura ALL went above and beyond to make our special weekend perfect! The tiny issue we had was dealt with swiftly and more than sufficiently by Noura- and the smiles and kind words from everyone made both Will and I agree that we will stay here again 8 out of 5 stars!

Totally misleading regarding resort fee! For 40 dollars you get to carry your own chair 1/2 mile to a very crowded public beach. No one told me at check in that the chair/umbrella service was not included so we walked all the way there and had to come all the way back to get our own chairs after being turned away. The bottom floor pool was reserved for the night for a private event so we weren’t allowed to use it beginning at 6:00 PM. The rooftop pool is a joke…tiny little pool with half a dozen chairs sandwiched between two concrete walls (and if you want drinks, you have to pay at the bar downstairs-for some reason you can’t put charges on your room for the bar service). Valet service is like a circus getting in/out of a very busy/loud/chaotic area. I HATED this hotel!

The beach is walk across the street, very convenient. There isn’t a view of the beach from the room, however our room overlooks the pool. The hotel is on Ocean Drive which is the most popular street in South Beach. If you’re not a fan of crowds and non stop activities this might not be the spot for you. It’s a very beautiful location. The room was large enough for my husband and I. It was clean and tidy. We would stay again.
