My stay at the Homewood Suites was short and sweet. The staff there were all very kind and helpful and the grounds outside were well kept. The room itself was very clean and overlooked the lake which was my favorite part. I would absolutely book again in the future :)

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was not clean upon arrival. The bathtub and sink were visibly dirty, which made us question the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the room. This is unacceptable for any hotel stay. In addition, the front desk service was horrible. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and showed little interest in addressing our concerns or offering a solution. Instead of feeling welcomed or assisted, we felt ignored and disrespected as guests. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations. Due to the poor cleanliness and terrible customer service, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Breakfast was absolutely horrible. It ends at 9am - they even take away the coffee!! Which means you have to get up early on vacation. And it also means it’s as crowded a an ant bed - good luck in the waffle line. We felt like cattle. And so unnecessary - it is unacceptable they end it at 9am. Also, they charge for parking, and they charge to even wash and dry clothes. Too much nickel and diming. Also the first day there was no hot water so we couldn’t take baths. Will never stay here again - and you shouldn’t either.

The listing should clearly state on the main page that the airport shuttle only operates from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. If you book expecting shuttle service and your flight lands after 11:00 p.m., it’s extremely frustrating to find out at the last minute that you now have to pay for an Uber. Additionally, the lobby has a very strong, unpleasant odor. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and addressed issues quickly.

Room was in good condition but left unlocked and blocked open while we were out in the afternoon. Hot water was being repaired one day and promised to have back in evening. It didn't happen. Kids worked out at sports camp all day and couldn't take a shower. Next morning I couldn't take a shower because there was still no hot water. Asked the manager to contact me about some kind of discount and never hear from them.

Unfortunately there was an issue with the keys and I had to go to the front desk 2 different times. The 3rd time we got upgraded to a bigger room because of the issue. That was nice from the from desk lady but not necessary, we just wanted our key to work. Once in the suite, the space is great but unfortunately it felt dirty… carpets seems like they haven’t seen a vacuum in weeks and bathrooms had that red mold… we were there just for one night and I was glad. Elevators also take forever, they do have several on property.

The room was clean and had a full kitchen with dishes and a dishwasher which would have been nice for a longer stay. There are a couple of barbeques in the back for those who want to grill their own food. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Tours of Miami can be booked through the front desk which is convenient.

The view was nice, the room was comfy, we really just wish the tv in the room was a smart TV. Cable is okay but we prefer to be able to log into our Netflix or watch some YouTube.
