"Lovely historic hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downfall, no elevator and steep flights of stairs when you are at an elevation of over 10,000 feet. :) We enjoyed our stay anyway. "

"This was a beautiful room to stay in. The deep soaking tub was exactly what I needed. The property was unassuming, which made it difficult at first to find it, but the GPS was on target. Everything was done via my phone, and I did not have to seek anyone for anything. There was a code emailed to me for room entry and I even paid for the room the day I checked in. The microwave and coffee pots were in a communal area and not in the room itself. It was very cold when I stayed but the Hot Tub was a nice surprise even though I was not able to partake. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The houses are named, and I loved that the Lilly house, where I stayed, was next to the Marshall house. Great location, except for being about 100 yards from a nightclub. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay there again."

"Lovely older Victorian home has been updated with 2 very large bathrooms upstairs, has considerable storage room, enough sleeping areas for 3 couples and a 4-bed bunk room. It was well-outfitted and supplied for meal preparation (pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, and glasses) and consumption (large table seated 10 easily). It has several doors that help isolate sound transfer and allow for privacy. Several dining chairs were weak and flimsy (one was outright dangerous and I reglued several components), but most of the furnishings were functional and in good shape. We liked the location (easy walk in town) and the comfortable "feel" of the house as well as the shovels left on the porch to deal with the 8" snowfall that greeted us one morning. We would return and will recommend this place!"
