"We stayed here for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The views are incredible, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. There’s plenty of parking, a private road, and the property feels very secluded and peaceful. The home itself is beautiful—honestly wish I could lease the place.The wraparound porch was a huge highlight, perfect for sunsets, sunrises, hanging out, and taking in the mountain views. There was plenty of firewood available on the property, which was a great bonus. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped with a great stove/oven and a good-sized fridge.The loft with the Murphy bed was amazing—there’s a table overlooking the second level and massive windows with mountain views, making it an incredible spot for writing or relaxing. The house has some of the best natural lighting I’ve ever seen. Bathrooms were great with large showers, beds were comfortable, and there were lots of extra blankets. The downstairs bar area is a very cool setup. WiFi worked well the entire stay.The host was extremely responsive, quick, and helpful.A few things to note for certain age groups: the balcony and stairs have gaps that could be a concern for small children. There was a mousetrap under the stairs in the bunk bed room and workout equipment in that room as well—no issue for us, just something to be aware of depending on your group.Overall, no real complaints at all. We’ll 1000% be coming back with friends soon. Highly recommend."

"The location could not have been better. Snuggled in pines with a view of mountains, a nice deck, and a lovely path to a picnic table and swing behind the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the place for anyone who does not have trouble with stairs. It would be helpful for the listing to note that the two main bedrooms are downstairs, which posed a problem for my 91 year old father who was with me, leading to us leaving early. That had not been clear from the listing. Also, all information is online with no book of information at the house. That can pose a problem if one does not have good connectivity. The hosts were friendly and very responsive with all communications."

"The cabin was among very tall pine trees with a picturesque lake behind it. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing. Although we didn’t cook the kitchen had everything you would need. Pot, pans, glasses, coffee cups, spices. Actually the best supplied VRBO I have stayed at and we have rented houses for 25 people that weren’t as well stocked. Short distance to Leadville was nice. The view on the drive is nice. Not to mention access to twin lakes and the beautiful drive on Independence Pass on the way to Aspen when the leaves are changing. Great place to stay and drive to many different town around. Would recommend and if we come this way again we would stay here. "
