We really enjoyed this historic hotel. Be prepared for some stairs as there is no elevator and you may be out of breath if you aren't accustomed to the elevation (we came from sea level!) But it is worth it! The hotel is right in the center of town and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, the train station, the mineral belt biking trail, etc. We parked our car and then just walked (or biked) everywhere! The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was great.

As historical hotels go, the Delaware was unique. We found the floors were very uneven, and the stairway was extremely steep. An elevator would be nice. The carpet in the bedroom bedroom was a little worn and we found a few rocks on the floor. Parking was relatively convenient. Overall good but needs work. The staff was excellent.

We were not able to ;use the room we had ordered because it was on the second floor and my wife uses a cane and she could not clime the stairs. They gave us a room at another location which was not nearly what we expected. The only good thing about the room was that the sheets were excellent.
