If you are over 60, do not stay here. No elevator given the historic nature of the hotel. We were put on the third floor. 25 steps to level two. Another 20 steps top the third floor. King bed was 36 inches high. Had to get the manager to bring a step stool for my wife. Get a room not overlooking the main drag as it is noisy.

The Delaware is a charming hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's in a good location, close to restaurants and stores. It doesn't have an elevator and the stairs are steep, so it's not for those who need an elevator. But, for those looking for historical charm, it's a great choice.

Boom Days Getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the Delaware Hotel during Leadville Boom Days. The location is great and the hotel is very nice. The rooms are smaller but they are well kept and comfortable. Would certainly stay here again.

First of all the name of the guy who helped us the most pretty sure was Ian. Young super great guy! I will hold on to him because he gets customer service and the industry. Food was great! room was great! We were just passing by and my hubby likes older hotels. This was a surprise and well worth the stay! Paul just came off a week of motorcycle ride with the guys and I met him, Let's just say I was not staying where they stayed...,This is a beautiful hotel. ***No elevator for those who can NOT do steps ....

Expedia advertises free breakfast and that is not offered! Staff doesn’t understand why Expedia continues to show this!! The bathroom door knob was not working properly and I had a hard time getting out of there!! I also killed a larger ugly spider on the bathroom wall! The bed was also pretty soft and I didn’t sleep well! The staff is awesome but the room wasn’t worth over $200!
