Terrible Experience – Agoda Should Delist This Hotel My stay at Hotel Montana Zurich was absolutely unacceptable. Agoda should seriously consider delisting this property because nothing was transparent and the experience was shocking. I was hit with hidden charges that were never mentioned on Agoda — including USD 102 at the self check-in machine (security fees, city taxes, and breakfast) plus CHF 25 for breakfast. These extra costs were a complete surprise. The staff was rude, refused early check-in even though I arrived at 11 AM with my child, and despite paying extra charges at 11 AM, they still didn’t allow check-in. When I came back at 2:30 PM, no staff was present, and after one hour of waiting, I had to use the machine which charged me again. The room was dirty, with big spiders, and the breakfast was extremely poor — no cutlery and very limited options. Overall, this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I strongly recommend Agoda to highlight all hidden charges clearly and take action. I also request a refund of USD 102 plus CHF 25 that I was wrongly charged.

Breakfast good, but one staff member rushed us while the other was much friendlier. Restaurant was overpriced for what it was. Room had unplugged light that took a day to figure out and the safe was broken. Otherwise, nice hotel.

Had to leave as the property was way below expectations. The fans were blowing dirt, I have a video, when the cleaning person came to clean the fans, there was a lot of dust that were taken out. the room was small and old and , the bathroom was old, the bathtub unsafe to use

We had a really positive stay here! The staff provided exceptional customer service so friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean and simple, with two fans provided, though it still got a bit warm at night. The TV wasn’t working, but we didn’t end up needing it. Breakfast was enjoyable and so tasty with lot of options available, and the location and steps to old town and the famous bridge it was just excellent with shops, train station and attractions nearby. Overall, an amazing hotel for the price and location definitely recommend for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay! You get a lot more than what you would expect!

The hotel is nice , although the bathroom is very small abd if you have any difficulty getting on a high step tub do not stay there. The location is great abd very walkable and the bus stop is very near by. The staff is great.

A very expensive room even for Luzerne. Fan in bathroom very noisy. Good size room and at time of booking only one available. Should have booked flexible rate as cheaper rooms available later. Lesson learned. Breakfast good and plentiful. Easy walk from station.

Our main issue was that the hotel and our room were very hot. Portable AC units were provided but were quite noisy. Additionally, lighting in the room was limited. Lastly, the curtains did not cover the bedroom window fully.
