The staff was super helpful. They even offered to park my car even though they don’t have valet service. The location was excellent and very close to the center of the old town and walkable to all the sites. The building itself is 500 years old, so there are some unavoidable creaks and old bones.

This is a 500 year old location with all the good and bad that comes with it. Room was a bit smaller than we needed and furnishings would benefit from updating. The portable A/C kept room cool enough to escape a hot weekend. Hotel main rooms were very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very good - in Old Town and close to city center.

Great location. It’s an old hotel so rooms are classical. They should upgrade the bathrooms ours still has tub with shower very uncomfortable if you are tall. The room we had was very spacious.

A charmingly presented, characterful hotel. Staff could not do enough to help. Restaurant prices were at the higher end of what was typical for that standard but the food and service couldn’t be faulted. A wonderful stay in a beautiful city.

Very nice hotel. Had a large room with cleaning daily. Antique furniture was really cool in the room along with all the other antique showings throughout the building. The staff was very helpful when we asked about what tours to take along with helping us register and pay for them. Located in a perfect area.

My wife and I very much enjoyed the historic charm of this hotel. The location is perfect and the staff (especially the front desk and restaurant staff) are very helpful and provide excellent service. The only critique we have is that the beds are too firm. They could use a pillow top or foam insert over the main mattress to add comfort.
