Our gear box was stolen off the top of car directly in front of check in under lights between 11pm and 5am. Right in front of security camera. We were told at check in it was safe to leave it there overnight when we asked and that the hotel at 24/7 security.

What a great surprise after a long day of driving! We found the Hyatt House Silverton on the Hotels.com app and are so glad that we chose to stay there. Not only was the hotel new, clean, and well-appointed, all of the staff was super friendly. It’s just off the freeway, but not so close that it feels like a travel hotel. It’s definitely going to be our go-to hotel when we travel through Las Vegas.

Best off-strip, chill Vegas vibe

The nicest staff in Vegas, maybe anywhere? Truly, such sweet, thoughtful people. My boyfriend and I travel to Vegas often and don’t care to stay on the strip, especially with our dog. Hyatt Silverton is always our spot, and walking in is like walking into a family home. Everyone remembers us and treats us with such kindness, as well as our dog— he is always so happy to see them and they him. We wind up spending so much time at the lobby bar just to hang out with the staff haha. Can’t recommend enough.

I received a phone call last night from my parents and they were shaking because someone who were assigned same room number had entered their room while they were sleeping around 22:00. This is an unacceptable breach of security and privacy. They felt unsafe staying at this property. They couldn’t sleep at all until they checked out. No apologies to my parents.

The Hyatt Place Silverton was a good choice for us because we were just staying one night because of departing to the airport the next morning. Prices were good. No resort fee and no parking fee.
